Okay people! I'm finally back to blogging and staying this way for good.
FINALLY, I've got my life back together (somewhat), decided how to move on and here I am - First day of school. Hahaha what the shit right?
Before I go on to say anything, I want to first say, please if you like my photos, go to my photography page - "ShutterJun Photography" and support me by liking the page.
Or you can click HERE !! (shit too long never blog I wrote my html as () instead of <>)
It really means a lot to me now more than ever.
The reason? I'm planning to really go into photography and I've taken the first step already (not saying what now but I'll say soon). Plus I'll most prolly join the photography club in school also (totally not me right).
Anyway, so I really need all of my friends' support that I can garner (:
Thank you all in advance!
Oh and plus, right now I'm having a lucky draw! Once the counter hits 100, I'll start the first lucky draw where TWO lucky winners will stand to win some special prizes. For more details go to my page okay! And even if you don't win, just by liking the page, you straight away get 20% off any services you need (first time only).
Back to school. To be completely honest, waste of time on Monday. I leave house at 7.15am, reach school at 8.05am, have lesson at 8.30am and by 10am or so, I'm already on the bus back home to go continue sleeping. HAHAHAHA. Bus fare wise (stupid no student concession sucks to the max) just for 1.5hours of lesson, already $4. Shiok or not?
Anyway, I recently saw someone posting how people who put watermarks on their photos seem amateurish and stuff. I think that insults a lot of photographers even the pros but what the hell. I put my watermark and I'm proud of it cause it's my work. Though what that person said may make sense like let the photo express itself, I do not agree that people will recognise who takes the photo unless you really have a VERY distinct and unique style for ALL your photos (eg you only take in fisheye + black and white + couple kissing). Otherwise come on, be fair, most people just like to see "pretty pictures" and I bet if you give them 10 pretty pictures from 10 photographers, they won't be able to see the difference unless they have what I said above. For me, I believe in watermarking is also to prevent "stealing". Happened before and no, I didn't like it. I mean if you're my close friend okay la, I feel honoured. But using other people's work without credit, uh-uh. I take pride in my work and I want people to know it :D
Just my two cents worth, really.
I'm sorry I'm jumping all over the place in this post. Anyway, last weekend was pretty constructive for me. Two shoots in two days I couldn't be happier. And that's like 3+5 hours worth. Though for some weird reason, BOTH my knees hurt so much just by touching any surface (like crawling into bed) even though there is no visible bruising. But I think it's worth it just looking at my photos. But frigging pissed me off was that I booked the studio and got stood up. And that person completely ignored my calls and sms-es. Best of all, he's my friend. Sigh. What can I say?
All right, I'm heading back to school soon for some stupid talk. That's all for today, folks! (:
As a gift, show you this photo of my babies. HAHAHAHA. Super cute in my opinion.
