I'm so so thankful for my boyfriend ♥

He sent me to work and waited for me for four hours before coming back to fetch me home. And really thank goodness he was there waiting for me after work otherwise I think I'd just crawl home and puke.

I'm so not going back to work at RTC as a waitress already. Back to job hunting. I'm going to choose admin this time. At least I get to SIT on a chair and use a computer.

First time working as a waitress at a Chinese Restaurant:

- Stand/Walk non-stop 4 hours straight
- No water
- No toilet breaks
- Got transferred to a VIP room to serve

My feet hurt. & I've proven myself right. I can't be a waitress. My hand is too shaky. Idk if it's the kind of illness where you know, old people get and their hands tremble non-stop? Mine ain't that bad yet but it's there. And when I strain my arm muscles, it gets so bad that I scoop up one spoonful of soup and by the time it reaches my mouth, there's no more left on the spoon =/

Plus you know there's always this fat ugly woman in every place you may be at? Well, there's one at my workplace. Super kb. Everything also have to shout at me. I was holding this mega huge tray of dishes, cups, glasses, etc and trying to push open the door to the kitchen (I ALWAYS get stuck there cause the tray can't fit in -.-) and I nearly dropped the whole damn tray so I discarded the PROPER way of holding the tray and grabbed it and she happen to see me do that and the items on my tray wobbling and scream at me in chinese 'WHO TOLD YOU TO CARRY THE TRAY LIKE THIS? NOBODY EVER CARRIES IT THIS WAY!' -glares at me-

Geez, and another ocassion was when I was carrying clean bowls to put it at the counter there and she stopped me halfway and half shout half talk to me saying in Chinese again (she's from China I think), "BIG BOWL AND SMALL BOWL MUST PUT SEPARATELY! -takes the whole stack of bowl from me, takes out the big bowl, dump the stack back at me and puts the big bowl on top- THIS ONE (pointing to the top) IS THE BIG BOWL!"

She could have been nicer! It's my first day there and the person who told me to go collect the bowls didn't tell me there were two different kinds. I really couldn't tell the difference. Even if there was a difference (maybe the fat woman is trying to be evil and just make fun of me), it's less then 1 cm in circumference, which means 0.25cm per four 'corners' of the bowl. How to tell the difference?!

Okay enough bitching about my first day as a waitress. I quit. End of story.
Chinese restaurant is hell scary. Especially in the VIP room where dishes come one after another and the cycle is:

- Serve dishes
- Clear plates
- Carry dirty plates to kitchen/ Get more serving trays from kitchen
- Attend to customers' needs (Eg. Refill tea; Refill alcohol; Get more chilli)
- Top up whatever is needed from the kitchen(More hot water, more ice, more tea)

And this cycle goes on non stop. There's even once where I went out of the VIP room to do an errand, got stopped by a customer from an outside table to get 3 plates of garlic and 3 plates of chilli, went to the kitchen complete my errand, took the 6 plates of whatever stuff, served them, went straight to the VIP room and start the cycle again.

I'm tired. No more. I'd rather join Jeffrey and go work at GV. At least I still get breaks when I go with him for his 'non-official break'.

I've got photos in my camera taken at Vivo on Tuesday. Went to watch 'Assasins and Bodyguards' (or is it Bodyguards and Assasins?). Pretty good show, very bloody tho. I watched 'The Spy Next Door' on Sunday and it's hell cool 'cept that it's almost the same storyline as this other movie I've watched before. Wednesday I headed down to Aunty Sandy to sew. Spent 8 hours there straight sewing a dress which I think I'll give to my mum cause it's looks really really vintage and when I wear it, I look like some kid in an oversized dress.

Okay, I'm off to do other stuff. Piano later. Baby's finally home! :D

Did I mention? I really love my boyfriend to bits and pieces ♥
Don't want him to go botak and stay in Tekkong, especially when I'm used to being with him every day from morning 9am till night 11pm. Sucky sucky.

I don't even remember what the previous post meant -.- How smart of me. Hahah, whatever.

Anyway, piano lessons have been really boring. Somewhat. Cause it's like, I just go there, play the piece I'm learning, the teacher points out what parts to take note and this goes on for an hour and I'm done =/

Unlike my 2nd piano teacher who gave me disney songs to play and stickers to choose to paste on my notebook when I do well (I'm only p2 so don't blame me!) and Dr.Lim who actually listened to my request of halting my learning in classical songs and teaching me how to compose my own songs and helping me learn to use a software that aids in my composition also.

Pity I'm no longer under them cause the former teacher charges really high price though I think she's the best piano teacher I've had and the latter teacher is no longer teaching piano cause he's teaching music in Nanyang now. Ohwells.

I wanna quickly finish learning the last page of this song, brush up all 6 pages and move on to another song. Geez.

AND I WONDER WHEN WILL SOMEONE RETURN ME MY PSP AFTER TAKING IT AWAY FROM ME FOR MORE THAN 2 WEEKS!!

Geez, he even took the charger cable with him. I'm going to take it back and transfer some kiddy games into it so he won't ever touch it again!

Okay, that might not work cause he totally digs playing the monkey game in my psp. It's about scissors paper stone and mini games.

Monday - Aunty Sandy's house
Tuesday - Gym
Wednesday - Gym
Thursday - Basketball
Friday - Baby's house

I finished sewing one office skirt within 4 hours! Heh heh heh. And I decided to do away with the inner lining which can be found in almost all office skirts cause it's really irritating especially when there's pespiration and it sticks to your skin. Ew. But it's way too long. It's totally below my knees. I don't think anyone can imagine me wearing a skirt that's below the knees. Please don't imagine, it's giving me goosebumps. Sort of.

Next up at Aunty Sandy's house will be my CNY dress! I'll be wearing the one I designed last year also cause like I only wore it once to baby's house cause I wasn't able to go visiting elsewhere so don't wanna waste it anyway. But this year design hopefully -cross fingers- I am able to design it in such a way that it can be worn on other occasions too other than CNY. But it's hard given the cloth pattern. Sigh.

& I wanna bring my DSLR out more often. Any nice places to capture nice shots?
Places I have in mind include Botanic Gardens, Arab Street, Chinatown, East Coast Park.

If you do know of nice places I can take good shots, let me know! (:
Or any good tips on how to use my DSLR properly would be good too! Cause I'm still getting used to it.

Will be going for a movie on Sunday, hopefully can squeeze one in before my piano lesson and hopefully will have pictures. Otherwise maybe I'll head out tomorrow. But the temptation of just staying at home and lazing about watching anime is great.

Muahahahaha.
Off to watch Full Metal Panic!

Yawns, I've really been lazing around too much xD

On top of that I have to be down with flu and couldn't go to work at ToysRUs on Wednesday. Spoiler. Zzz.

Anyway, nothing much happened in the past few days. Hardly went out cause I just got a new bed so there was packing to be done and cleaning up and plus I had to rest at home cause of my flu. Now baby's sick -.- Geez.

Anyway, am not taking part in the photography competition already cause I think it's really hard to even win given that I've just started getting used to my DSLR so maybe next year or smth after I've honed my skills :D
Plus, I've finally started on my sewing scrapbook and I'm going to continue my sewing lessons with Aunty Sandy and hopefully 2-3 years down the road, I can accomplish what I've been hoping to accomplish! It's a secret. Heh.

And these are just some of the photos I took during the countdown. I'll be uploading them to my fb later if I feel like it. The reason why I don't blog often now it's actually very simple. I spend the whole day reading manga/watching anime. Really! I can just wake up, on my com, and sit there all the way till past midnight. Baby can't stand me either because due to this, I refuse to go out anywhere and ignore him also. Heehee.

Some idiot went to knock my tripod and another idiot had to push me from behind while rushing forward to look at the fireworks. Zz.

Stupid people who rushed forward at the same time stepping over my things and obstructing my camera despite me setting it up nicely since 5pm.

And some random pictures here.

Saw this on the train quite long ago. It's some volleyball team shirt.

And this really pissed me off. Cause it was dinner time and you know dinner time food courts are really crowded right? So there were a lot of people trying to get seats.

So the row in front of me had 6 tables, which means 12 seats cause there'd be one on each side of the table. So on the extreme left, 4 seats (which means 2 tables) were taken up but some foreign workers from the looks of it. The seats are something like this:

| | | | |

[ Note: X stands for seats; | stands for table]

Then their friend came and put his plastic bag on the third table from the left cause there was no one around the table except for a huge bag laid diagonally across two tables (seriously what the fuck right?)

| | \ \\\\\

[Note: \ stands for the plastic bag; \\\\\ stands for the big bag place diagonally]

Then that worker went to buy food. After that, this girl (the one in the picture), came back with her food at the same time with another forgein worker who just sat down on the extreme left. That girl put her food right smack in the middle of the 3 tables on the right and stared at the plastic bag that was left on the 3rd table from the left and stared at the foreign worker who just sat down. So he bo bian had to help his friend move the bag to the 2 tables on the left.

[Note: \ stands for plastic bag; * stands for the girl's food]

Then she just left her food there and go find her boyfriend and came back with him. Best.
Her boyfriend sat in the middle and put his bag beside him and if I'm not wrong, they purposely put the empty water bottle infront of them so that no one would sit there but I may be wrong. Then the girl purposely turned her tray such that it would occupy the space infront of her while her boyfriend leant towards his left while eating. I mean, come on la, 2 people and you are occupying a space of 6?! The 3 foreign workers beside them had just occupied a space for 4 only.

O X A A \\\\\

O O X X X

[Note: O stands for occupied seats by the foreign workers; A stands for the occupied seats for the couple; \\\\\ stands for the guy's bag; * stands for their food and the waterbottle in front of the guy]

What irritated me more was that I finally caught sight of his logo (he was wearing a uniform with a badge but I couldn't see properly). He is in the Singapore Police Force.
Not that I have a grudge whatsoever but you are wearing a uniform at least be proper? If it was non peak hour, they could have occupied 10 seats and I wouldn't be bothered la. Geez, seriously, what's wrong with selfish people today? I mean, at least be more socially responsible?

Plus yea, they are a couple (just look at the rings they are wearing on the fourth finger of their right hand) so why is there a need for the guy to lean so much to his left while eating? It couldn't be because his gf stinks or something right?

It's okay if you didn't get it. It was just kinda pissing to look. Ohwells.
Off to read more manga now.

Oh and to end it all off...
Baby's kungfu dance! It's full of slapping and puching.

IT'S KUNG FU FIGHTING YO!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! (:

HEEHEEHEEHEE! I bet that just made your new year! xD

Didn't update the whole week cause I've been really busy with trainings.

Monday - Job training at Eunos

Tuesday - Job training at Eunos; headed down to Chinatown to buy cloth to sew; massage therapy that made me feel so bruised all over after that

Wednesday - Job training at Suntec; followed by movie 'AVATAR 3D'

Thursday - Job training at Eunos; headed down to hospital to visit baby's grandfather; headed down to marina bay and countdown:D

I'll let the pictures do the talking but I won't be putting up the fireworks picture just yet cause I'm considering taking part in a photography competition so yeah, got some really nice shots that I'll put up after I've sent in my entry (:

Anyway, if there are any of you that are crazy over anime, there are quite a few good ones you can watch: Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, Detective Conan, AirGear, etc. I'm watchin Detective Conan right now and though the quality is somewhat like Doraemon that kind, the storyline is really really good!

I'm still trying to figure out my timetable -.- Got a job for stock count @ ToysRUs, waitress at RTC, marketing sales at VE, teach Eug's sister piano and to continue my sewing lessons with Aunty Sandy. & my mum wants me to head down to Jurong East tuition centres to give tuition there. Like this I might as well go work full-time. Geez.

Most prolly I'll be starting my sewing lessons next week tgt with my waitress job and the stock count is next Thursday (thank goodness it's just a one-day job). I've gotta go do a bit of researching to find the exam pieces and theory papers for Eug's sister too and to check out this year's dates for the piano exam and if it's possible for her to take this year or wait till next year then I can start teaching because honestly, I don't remember what Grade 1 consists of. Starting from Grade 5 onwards, the exams are very different from what is being tested from Grade 1 - 4.

I'm going to be emo the whole of next week too cause my parents bought me a new bed and the bed I have for the past 10 over years is going away ): Gah. I know it's stupid to get sentimental over such things but I like this bed cause it's really unique. Sigh.

Okay pictures time :D

That's all for now. Going to bed soon. Been having headache for the past few days. Gah ):
Haven't had much rest since I came home from countdown at 4am -.-
